Justo Villar - World Cup 2010 Sexy Hunk

Now 32, Villar began his professional career in 1996 with Sol de America, who were then coached by Almeida, one of the country’s finest glovemen of all time. Over the next five seasons Villar acquired a reputation for excellence and was snapped up by Libertad, where he won league titles in 2002 and 2003.

His performances had not gone unnoticed outside Paraguay. In 2004 he made the move to Argentina, signing for Newell’s Old Boys, one of the country’s biggest clubs. Conceding only 11 goals in 19 games in the 2004 Apertura, he made a significant contribution to their first title triumph in 12 seasons and quickly earned the undying adulation of the Lepra faithful.

After four years in Argentina he took another step forward in his career, joining Spanish first division side Real Valladolid, where he has combined spells on the sidelines with some excellent performances. A dependable mainstay for his country in all that time, Villar played in all but one of Paraguay’s qualifying matches for the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, conceding a mere 12 goals in the process.

From their smiling faces and apparent modesty, I am not sure I have seen a greater transition from a do-goody smiling type to what we see in the pictures below. And that’s just one aspect of their mystery.

After having shown early promise in Lorient’s youth team, Yoann Gourcuff entered Rennes’ academy in 2001, at the same time as his dad Christian was appointed coach of the club. It was there that Gourcuff junior signed his first contract and got a taste of top-level football. Making his Ligue 1 debut in February 2004, he went on to make nine appearances in his first season, 21 the following year and 36 the season after. During this time he gradually began to find his ideal role and make a name for himself in French football.

Despite an offer to extend his contract in Brittany and approaches from Paris Saint-Germain, Lyon and Arsenal, he joined AC Milan in the summer of 2006, on the advice of his Dad, a great admirer of Arrigo Sacchi. He appeared to have adapted extremely well to his new surroundings, scoring in his first full appearance in the UEFA Champions League against AEK Athens, but thereafter was unable to establish himself as a first-team regular due to the form of stars such as Kaka, Clarence Seedorf, Andrea Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso, Gourcuff made do at first with his bit-part role, but that would diminish even further the following year.... >> More Info of Gourcuff at FIFA Profile

World Cup 2010 Sexy Hunk - Vincenzo Iaquinta

Vincenzo Iaquinta - Italy

Dangerous in the air and on the ground, Vincenzo Iaquinta is a powerful forward who can operate down the centre channel or out on the right wing. His first Serie A outing came with Udinese at the relatively late age of 21. Over the next three seasons he struggled to impose himself in Udine, scoring a mere 11 goals in 61 league appearances. Happily, all that would change in the following four campaigns, during which time he became one of the best strikers in the Italian top flight, hitting over ten goals a season.

The chance to represent his country duly came in a friendly against Iceland in March 2005, Marcello Lippi acknowledging his ability to run into space, his unselfish team play and his power. He would go on to make five appearances at Germany 2006, scoring a goal in Italy's 2-0 defeat of Ghana in the group phase. He thus became the second Udinese player to pick up a FIFA World Cup™ winners medal in the Italy No15 shirt, midfielder Franco Causio being the first 24 years earlier.

Iaquinta has continued to progress since completing a move to Juventus in 2007, and despite stiff competition for places remains well in contention for striking duties with the Azzurri. Iaquinta looks good in a suit (and probably really good out of one), but he also looks good as a champion who helped his team win the 2006 World Cup. He's ready for another victory. And another haircut, it seems.
